Woman throws plate at sister, punches her in the face while threatening to kill her

18-year-old Alaliyah Cottman was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after police say she punched her sister in the face and destroyed a chair and plate.

On November 19th, Officer Jt Knoblock responded to a service call at the Waterford Landing Apartments at 135 Westfield Court Apartment 710. Upon arrival, contact was made with Claresa Cottman, who stated she was punched in the face by her sister, Alaliyah Cottman. Alaliyah reportedly threw a plate at her, while yelling “I’m going to kill you”, and broke a chair in the apartment.

Terri Moore-Robinson, a witness on the scene, stated she witnessed Alaliyah strike her sister. Knoblock was able to observe a broken plate and chair on the scene. There hasn’t been any previous history of domestic violence between them. The damaged property was valued at roughly $35.

Alaliyah Cottman was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. She has since been released on a $1,000 bond.
