55-year-old Christina Morton was charged with aggravated assault after police say she tried to hit her husband with a car and ran over his foot.
On November 11th, Clarksville Police Officer Arthur McCray responded to the residence of 3712 Wheatfield Lane in response to an aggravated assault call. Upon arrival, Calvert Nurse advised he and his wife, Christina Morton, got into an argument when she hit him with a car.
According to the affidavit, a neighbor across the street witnessed the incident and noted Calvert’s foot was run over as he jumped out of the way of the vehicle.
Christina Morton was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
