Woman rips husband’s sweater during argument in front of their kids

29-year-old Debbitza Roldan was charged with vandalism after she reportedly ripped her estranged husband’s sweatshirt during an argument.

On November 17th, Clarksville Police Officer Lyssed Pacheco responded to reports of a domestic in progress at the Concord Village Apartments, 143 West Concord Drive, Apartment F. The officer made contact with Jorge Eduardo and his estranged wife, Debbitza Roldan. They were actively arguing when Officer Pacheco arrived. Jorge stated that his wife came over to pick up their three daughters, but became upset when he told her she was not allowed inside of his home.

Debbitza reportedly accused him of having someone else inside of the residence. While Jorge was placing his daughter in her car seat, his wife told him he would not see his kids again. She grabbed his sweatshirt and yanked on it until it ripped. Debbitza told the officer Jorge pushed her after she ripped his sweatshirt, but a witness stated he was never aggressive. The witness added that he did see Jorge’s wife pull his sweatshirt. The sweatshirt was estimated to be around $60.

Debbitza Roldan was arrested and charged with vandalism. She was later released on a $250 bond.
