Woman pops on mother and sister; drags sibling around apartment by her hair

30-year-old Ashley Dean was charged with two counts of domestic assault after pouring soda on her mother, and pouring milk on her juvenile sister before holding her down “until she stopped fighting.”

On October 19th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Isabella Hofinga arrived at the residence of 2845 Cobalt Drive in response to a domestic violence call. Veronica Pridgen called the police on her daughter, Ashley Deal, who lives in the apartment above her, came down to borrow a charger cord for her computer. Deal bumped into her younger sister on her back way out, so she pushed Deal. Pridgen saw and stopped her two daughters from shoving each other. Deal walked to her fridge, grabbed a two-liter of soda, and poured it over her.

Deal then went back to the fridge, grabbed a gallon of milk, poured it on the younger sister, and then left to go back to her apartment. Pridgen followed arguing with her when Deal came back downstairs pushed her sister on the floor and started dragging her by her hair, hitting her head and shoulder against the TV stand, and hitting her own chin on the couch causing her lip to bleed. Deal was then on top of her sister slapping her, who slapped her back, and that’s when Pridgen yelled that she was going to call the police.

According to Ashley Deal, she only pushed her sister down because she threw something at her busting her lip, and she only held her down until she stopped fighting.

Ashley Dean was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
