42-year-old Misty Lynn Barnes was charged with driving under the influence after police say she was found sleeping behind the wheel of a running vehicle in a Mapco parking lot.
On November 15th, Clarksville Police Officer Breighanna Dilsaver responded to a DUI call at Mapco located at 2491 Fort Campbell Blvd. Upon arrival at the scene, Officer Dilsaver observed a white female, who was later identified as Misty Barnes, asleep at the wheel of her vehicle. The vehicle was parked at a pump while it was still running.
Upon making contact with Barnes, Officer Dilsaver noticed her eyes appeared glossy. According to the affidavit, Barnes told the officer that she drank three to four drinks at The Electric Cowboy. Based on this statement, she was taken into custody.
Misty Lynn Barnes was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. She was later released on a $2,500 bond.
