Woman charged with domestic assault after admitting to striking boyfriend with flower pot

Clarksville police observed mud and flowers strewn about Brittany Bonner’s living room on June 14th as they responded to a domestic assault call. Bonner advised she threw the flower pot, striking her boyfriend during an argument as he was leaving the apartment.

Clarksville Police responded to Kingsbury Road for a domestic disturbance on June 16th, and located the victim, who reported his girlfriend, Brittany Bonner, 26, struck him with a flower pot as he was attempting to leave the apartment after a verbal argument.

Police made contact with Bonner, the victim’s girlfriend, in the living room of the home, where they observed “mud and loose flowers” according to an arrest warrant. Bonner volunteered to an officer that she threw the flower pot, striking her boyfriend, and was arrested for domestic assault. Bonner is free on a $500 bond via Sallee Bonding and is scheduled to appear for arraignment on June 25th.
