Woman charged after husband tells police he was hit with slipper and bottles

19-year-old Jayden Rudell was charged with domestic aggravated assault and violation of conditions of release after hitting her husband, Jonnathan Garcia, with a couple of bottles and a slipper.

On December 5th, Clarksville Police Officer Tyler Eller responded to a domestic in progress at 131 Jack Miller Boulevard, where he made contact with Jonnathan Garcia. Garcia stated he and his wife, Jayden Rudell, were having an argument over marital issues. He told police that during the argument she grabbed a couple of bottles and a slipper and started hitting him.

Officers noted Garcia had no visible injuries on him and claimed no injuries from the assault. When Officer Eller asked Rudell what happened, she stated they had a heated argument but nothing happened physically. It was later revealed that Rudell had active conditions of release in place, which prevents her from committing assault against Garcia.

Jayden Rudell was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault and violation of conditions of release. She was later released on a $2,500 bond.
