Woman caught stealing less than $100 worth of items at Walmart, given $5k bond

24-year-old Tahanee Bennell was charged with shoplifting after police say she was caught stealing merchandise from Walmart on at least four occasions in October.

According to a report filed by Matthew Campbell, Tahanee Bennell entered Walmart at 3050 Wilma Rudolph Blvd on four occasions during the month of October.

On each of those occasions, she walked in and took items, went to the self check-out, and would either scan higher-priced items as cheaper items or just wouldn’t pay for the items at all. Walmart is seeking to be repaid $92.58.

On November 24th, Tahanee Bennell was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was later released on a $5,000 bond.
