36-year-old Ashley Lynn Neighbors was charged with domestic assault after police say she slapped her boyfriend in the face with a used feminine hygiene product.
On November 19th, Clarksville Police Officer Nicholas Martin responded to a possible domestic in progress call located at 8 Paradise Hill Road. Upon arrival at the scene, Officer Martin came into contact with Ashley Lynn Neighbors, who called 911 claiming her boyfriend, John Adkins, had assaulted her.
During the investigation, Officer Martin had determined that Ashley’s statement was false. She had no visible signs of assault on her person. However, it was discovered that she had actually assaulted her boyfriend in the face with a used female hygiene product. John still had dried blood from the item on his face while speaking with police. Ashley was deemed the aggressor and placed into custody.
Ashley Lynn Neighbors was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on a $500 bond.
