Trio blindsides homeowner with theft of $900 of his property

56-year-old Randy Robinson, 47-year-old Crystal Merry, and 36-year-old Olivia Clark were charged with burglary after stealing $900 in blinds from an abandoned home.

On November 21st, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Wendi Potter responded to a report of individuals being at an abandoned residence at 1413 River Road. On arrival, Wendi made contact with Randy Robertson, Crystal Merry, and Olivia Clark who claimed: they were “hired to clean out the residence.” She contacted Larry Allison, the homeowner, to verify their claims. Larry advised he has not given anyone permission to be on his property.

While she investigated the van they were in, she found roughly 30 boxes of new blinds inside. Larry confirmed that the blinds were his property each being worth roughly $30 each. Wendi deduced that they entered the garage, attached to the abandoned habitation, and stole the blinds.

Randy Robinson was arrested and charged with burglary. His case has been bound over to a Grand Jury, and he is still jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond.

Crystal Merry was arrested and charged with burglary, and she is currently jailed in lieu of a $5000 bond.

Olivia Clark was arrested and charged with burglary. She was later released on a $5000 bond.
