Son threatens mother: “I will kill you with this hammer if you call the police;” she calls anyway

25-year-old Corbin Jarman was charged with domestic assault and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after he threatened his mother with a hammer and he was caught with meth.

On December 1st, Clarksville Police Officer D. Moore responded to a domestic violence call at Rudy’s Diner. There he met with Anita Jarman, who reported the incident that occurred at her home at 1656 Vista Lane. She stated her son, Corbin Jarman, had become upset when she told him he could not use her vehicle. She stated that Corbin began breaking items and yelling at her.

She advised he was holding a hammer and said ” I will kill you with this hammer if you call the police.” She clarified Corbin never physically assaulted her, but she was scared of what he would do based on his actions. Moore was then shown photos of the damage to the bookshelf and a scattering of items. Moore then met with Corbin at the residence, who had since cleaned up the living room. He admitted to breaking things but denied ever threatening his mother. During Corbin’s arrest, Moore located a spoon, needle, and a small bag of methamphetamine on his person.

Corbin Jarman was charged and arrested with domestic assault and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. His charges of assault and paraphernalia were dismissed, and he was sentenced to serve 30 days of jail time with probation of his remaining sentence, 11 months and 29 days, upon good behavior.
