24-year-old Christian Thompson was charged with domestic assault after he took the phone of the victim and shoved her to the ground multiple times.
On February 13th, Officer Holder responded to a call where the victim wrote a statement on a domestic assault that occurred on February 3rd at the home she and Christian Thompson share. The victim wrote that during the altercation, Christian took her phone and threw it on top of their shed. When she went to retrieve it with the assistance of a chair, Christian pushed her to the ground. She stated that she then ran into the house and into the bedroom.
Christian then forced open the door and knocked the victim to the ground again, this time injuring her shoulder, per the affidavit. The victim stated the reason she did not contact the police immediately was due to her fear of Christian. The victim did not seek medical treatment for injuries at that point in time. On the day of the report, the victim did not have any visible injuries. The affidavit states that Christian is an active duty military service member and that the couple does have a domestic history.
Christian Thompson was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. His bond was set at $1,000.
