Deputies caught up to Gaither and as they were speaking to him, they detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. He was also unsteady on his feet, had bloodshot watery eyes, and slurred speech. He was considered a danger to himself, others, and property so officers transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.
