Becerra’s daughter stated that Becerra was calling Norman lazy and talking down to him and that he got upset and punched the wall. She then stated that Becerra “charged” at Norman and also stated that she jumped between the two to prevent anything physical, but said that she did not see who initiated contact first. When Officer Pride talked to Norman, he said that he was upset with Becerra and punched the wall, and said that Becerra came up from behind him and grabbed his shirt causing it to rip. He also stated that they began pushing each other. Officer Price observed that Becerra was acting as though she was intoxicated and had to be asked multiple times to stop yelling and was trying to argue with her daughter and Norman. Norman’s shirt collar was also stretched out from it being pulled with force.

Silvia Becerra was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She has since been released on a $250 bond.
