Man threatens girlfriend saying he is going to “smash her face like a pumpkin”

49-year-old Thomas Lightfoot was charged with domestic assault and simple possession when he put his girlfriend in a headlock and was found by police to be in possession of methamphetamine, per report.

On August 24th, Montgomery County Deputy Micheal Jones was called to the intersection of Rollow Lane and Dunlop Lane for a possible domestic assault. Deputy Jones made contact with Darlene Creavin, who stated that her live-in boyfriend, Thomas Lightfoot, destroyed her cell phone told her that he was going to smash her face like a pumpkin. She advised that he broke into her house and kept her isolated and in fear for her safety. Darlene told the deputy that while in a vehicle Thomas accelerated to 120 miles per hour.

She further stated that Thomas put her in a headlock several times through the course of the day and told her to give him her keys to her vehicle. During the search incident to the arrest, a single dollar bill folded up to conceal less than a gram of what was thought to be methamphetamine. A drug field test confirmed the substance to be illegal. There is no history of domestic violence between the couple and there were no physical injuries visible to either person.

Thomas Lightfoot was arrested and charged with domestic assault and possession of meth. His bond was set at $1,500.
