Man takes fight too far by pummeling partner “as hard as he could” with pillow

20-year-old Brandon Scott Brooks was charged with domestic assault after grabbing his girlfriend by the wrist and repeatedly whacked his girlfriend with a pillow after she asked him to stop.

On September 27th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Andrew Trescott responded to a domestic call at 6 Ernest Shelton Drive, where he made contact with the unnamed victim. She told Officer Trescott that she and her boyfriend were having an argument when Brooks became aggressive and grabbed her.

She attempted to push him away and asked him to stop, stating that Brooks was hurting her. That is when Brooks started landing stinging blows directly to her face. She also stated to the police that she felt as if he was swinging as hard as he could and that the event gave her a panic attack. Brooks admitted to hitting her with the pillow but said that he didn’t mean to hurt her, and was just playing around. He stated that after he hit her multiple times, she was crying and told him to leave the apartment.

Brandon Scott Brooks was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $500.
