Man stumbles from his SUV and fails three separate sobriety tests; charged with his first #DUI

feat Mount Bryan

39-year-old Bryan Mount was charged with driving under the influence for the first time after he failed to maintain his lane of travel on Fort Cambell Boulevard and failed three separate field sobriety tests.

On November 6th, Clarksville Police Officer Keith Jones began following a gray SUV North on Fort Cambell Boulevard after some suspicious driving. Jones observed three separate times where the driver swerved out of his lane within 300 yards of each other. Once pulled over, the driver was identified as Bryan Mount. Jones stated in his report, “I noticed he had blood-shot eyes, slurred speech and the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person”.

While exiting the vehicle Mount reportedly needed to use the door of his vehicle to catch himself from falling. During the walk and turn, Bryan was unable to stay on the line, stumbling off of it twice. During the Rhomberg test, he was unable to touch and remove his finger from his nose when asked. Bryan refused to submit to chemical testing and mentioned to Jones that there were 2 children at home that were being watched by a known adult. This is Bryan’s first charge for driving under the influence.

Bryan Mount was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
