Man stalks girlfriend as she walks home, later breaks in and punches her in the face

30-year-old Christopher Mason was charged with domestic assault after police say he stalked his girlfriend, broke into her house, and punched her in the face.

On November 28th, Clarksville Police Officer Robinson responded to a call for service at 537 Peachers Ridge Road. Upon arrival, contact was made with Brittney Moore and Christopher Mason.

According to Brittney, she was on the way home with Christopher when an argument began in the vehicle. He dropped her off in the neighborhood and kept following her as she walked home. When she made it home, he knocked on the door. She didn’t answer, so he tore the window screen off the window and got into her home by climbing through. After he got inside the residence, she ran outside. He began to chase her and punched her in the face.

Christopher told officers he dropped her off and left. He returned three minutes later to see if she made it home. He did not punch her or break into her house. Officer Robinson observed bleeding on Brittney’s face, so Christopher was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Christopher Mason was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $5,000 bond.
