Man punches ex who claims the blow landed where she recently had brain surgery

40-year-old Allan Wayne Moody was charged with aggravated domestic assault after his ex reported to police that he bit her and struck her in the head after she recently had brain surgery.

On September 28th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Gannon Gray responded to multiple domestic violence calls at 290 Needmore Road, Apartment 313, where he made contact with Allan Wayne Moody and his unnamed ex-girlfriend.

His ex-girlfriend informed police Moody had entered her apartment through an unlocked back door, and began hitting her head with his fist and bit her in the ear because she refused to call him a ride after he’d been out drinking. She also told officers that she’d recently had brain surgery in the site where Moody had struck her. Officers noted that Moody’s ex was acting hysterically, that her ear was red, and that she seemed to be in pain.

Moody reported that his ex had invited him over, that she has mental problems, and that he was the one assaulted. Officers noted that Moody had “a superficial bite mark on his wrist.” A series of vague text messages did confirm that Moody was invited over, but a check through their systems revealed he had an outstanding order of protection. Police noted Moody had the odor of alcohol on his breath and was determined to be the primary aggressor.

Allan Wayne Moody was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and violation of an order of protection. He was released on a $12,500 bond.
