Man found stumbling near St. Bethlehem convinced he’s in Georgia

26-year-old Jeffrey Toso was charged with public intoxication in the St. Bethlehem area after an officer observed him stumbling along 101st Parkway near Pea Ridge Road with an open bottle of whiskey, per report.

On May 17th, Officer Shawn Brown noticed a man tripping along 101st Airborne Division Parkway near Pea Ridge Road. According to the affidavit, the man, later identified as Jeffrey Toso, could not walk straight and was weaving in and out of traffic. Brown detected the scent of alcohol on Toso alongside an open bottle of whiskey on his person.

Toso’s slurred statements claimed that he was located in Dotsonville, approximately half an hour from where Brown found him. According to the affidavit, Toso later stated to be in Georgia, the location of his current address. He was arrested for public intoxication due to being a danger to others and himself.

Jeffrey Toso was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $439.
