Man found intoxicated after accident on 101st Parkway

44-year-old Jose Tzaquitzal Ajpacaja was charged with DUI after police say he crashed his vehicle and admitted to drinking a forty-ounce Bud Light.

On November 25th, Clarksville Police Officer Kevin Westover responded to a crash at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Warfield Boulevard. When the officer arrived, he made contact with the driver, Jose Tzaquitzal Ajpacaja. The officer asked for documentation and noticed Jose appeared lethargic. He had bloodshot eyes and an alcoholic odor was emitting from his person.

According to the report, he stated he had nothing to drink but later revealed that he drank a forty-ounce bottle of Bud Light approximately two hours prior. Officer Westover conducted field sobriety tests, in which Jose performed poorly. He was taken into custody and agreed to provide a blood sample.

Jose Tzaquital Ajpacaja was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
