Man dual-wields knives and lets his ex know “someone’s going to die tonight,” per report

57-year-old Michael Campbell was charged with aggravated domestic assault after chasing his ex-girlfriend down with a couple of knives.

On December 7th, Clarksville Police Officer T. Hicks responded to a domestic violence call at the residence at 2317 Raleigh Court. Hicks met with Kimberly Coverson at the location. She stated that her ex-boyfriend, Michael Campbell, and herself had begun arguing about him moving out. They had broken up a few weeks before and she stated she wanted him out of the house.

During their argument, Michael reportedly shoved her against the wall and began chasing her with knives. She quoted him as saying “someone is going to die tonight”. When Micheal was questioned, he stated that she gave him until Friday to move out and that his frustration began when she started moving his things downstairs. At that point, he said, “I’m a man, and that’s when I got mad.” Kimberly had no signs of injury.

Michael Campbell was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
