Man charged with girlfriend’s second assault in under 13 days

39-year-old Donald Doss was charged with aggravated domestic assault and evading arrest after he hit his girlfriend in the face over an argument about putting up a tv.

On October 31st, Clarksville Police Officer Robinson dispatched to the residence of Tyisha Lyles and Donald Doss located at 711 Power Street in regards to a domestic assault. The officer spoke to Tyisha who advised that she and her boyfriend, Donald, were arguing about setting up a tv that he had bought. She stated that Donald got upset and began hitting her in the face. A check through the system revealed that he had an active warrant for violating his probation.

Officer Robinson spoke to him through a window and advised him that he had a warrant and was going to be placed into custody. Donald refused to come out of the residence and was further notified that he needed to surrender himself at 1:00 A.M. Donald had an active condition of release dated October 18th due to a domestic assault with Tyisha being the victim which was featured on Scoop: Clarksville. According to the conditions of release, Donald was prohibited from being at the address of 711 Power Street.

Donald Doss was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and evading arrest. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
