Man charged after carrying girlfriend outside by her neck

31-year-old Chase Grahl was charged with aggravated assault and vandalism after smashed his girlfriend’s iPhone 7 Plus, carried her out of their house by her neck, and chucked her onto the driveway.

On October 15th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Kirill Annikov met with Chase Grahl’s girlfriend, Deanna Hickey, in response to a domestic violence call that happened at the residence of 1096 River Terrace. Hickey advised that during an argument in the garage with Grahl he grabbed her iPhone 7 from her and threw it on the ground, destroying it.

Grahl then went into the house where Hickey followed trying to talk to him. He stated that he wanted her to leave but she refused. At that point, Grahl grabbed Hickey by the neck lifting her off the ground, carried through the residence, and threw her outside. Officer Annikov did notice scratches on Hickey’s left knee and elbow.

Chase Grahl was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and vandalism. He was released on a $7,500 bond.
