Man caught in Walmart bathroom stuffing his coat

56-year-old Robert Fowler was charged with burglary after Walmart Loss Prevention reported to police they observed him try to conceal items in his coat.

On December 8th, Clarksville Police Officer Barbara Middleton responded to a burglary at Walmart at 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard. She met with Walmart Loss Prevention, who stated they observed Robert Fowler in the store concealing various merchandise in his coat.

According to the report, he passed the registers and went into the bathroom. He was found in a stall cutting into the merchandise packaging and putting it back in his coat. All items were recovered and were valued at $200.39. Robert signed a criminal trespass form in December 2018 that banned him from entering any Walmart properties.

Robert Fowler was arrested and charged with burglary. He was later released on a $5,000 bond.
