32-year-old Donald Cochran was charged with aggravated domestic assault after he left bruises on a woman while driving from Adams to Clarksville, per report.
On August 3rd, Officer Martin was dispatched to a domestic assault which initially began in Robertson County. Robertson County dispatch apprised that a female victim was assaulted by Donald Cochran as they left her residence in Adams, Tennessee. They were believed to be in a black Nissan Rogue heading to A & W Motel at 1505 Madison Street. The vehicle was seen on Madison Street and Memorial Drive and located in the Mapco Mart parking lot at 1775 Madison Street inhabited by both the victim and Cochran.
The female had numerous bruises on her arm, neck, chest, and legs and explained that Cochran was continuously hitting her with the back of his hand while he was driving down Madison Street near the intersection of Highway 76 up to the intersection at Memorial Drive. The female victim also purported Cochran attempted to strangle her, but she did not lose consciousness.
Donald Cochran was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
