26-year-old Archibald Ryales was charged with aggravated domestic assault after slamming and strangling his fiancée when she found him sleeping on the floor.
On October 16th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Seth Traughber arrived at Gateway Homes Apartments located at 550 New South Drive in response to a domestic call. Archibald Ryales was found sleeping on the floor by his fiancée Gabriella Roberts and when she woke him up, they began arguing.
According to the affidavit, he then body slammed her and placed his hands around her neck making her “feel as if she could not breathe”.
Archibald Ryales was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
