After the deputy detained him he told him that his name was Omar Garner. Per the report, Omar was swaying back and forth, could hardly stand on his own, and smelled of alcohol. He had injuries to his face and told authorities that he probably fell but was not sure. He was transported to Sango Emergency Room to be treated for his injuries and placed under arrest due to the fact that he was deemed a danger to himself.

Omar Garner was arrested and charged with public intoxication and unlawful use of sidewalks. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
