23-year-old Greshonda Keonna Morton was charged with aggravated domestic assault after forcing her way into her wife’s residence, throwing items, and wrestling her wife over a cell phone.
On October 3rd, Clarksville Police Department Officer Alexander Koziol responded to a domestic call at 639 Abby Creek Drive, the Heritage Point apartment complex, where he made contact with Morton’s wife, Josefin Zapata. Zapata reported to officers that Greshonda Keonna Morton forced her way into the residence.
Zapata also told police that her wife threw items around the residence and pushed her and wrestled her over a phone. A witness did confirm that Morton forced her way into the residence and did push and wrestle Zapata. Police noted Zapata had a bump on her forehead, bruising on her leg, and an abrasion on her wrist. It was also noted that both parties were under conditions of release.
Greshonda Keonna Morton was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and violation of conditions of release. She is currently being held in lieu of a $35,000 bond.
