Christopher Monson was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 9 counts of incest, 7 counts of rape of a child under 13 years old, 3 counts of rape, 2 counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child, especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and criminal attempt to commit rape. Christy Monson was charged with 2 counts of duty to report – abuse/ neglect/ etc., coercion of a witness, and tampering with or fabricating evidence.
Over the course of 10 years, it is reported that Christopher Monson has abused a child within his own family. The abuse started when the child was only 7 years old and has continued into this current year. While the details of each charge are sealed by the Grand Jurors for the State of Tennessee as of this date, we can provide a timeline of the charges and criminal acts associated with such. We intend to provide you with additional information as it becomes available.
Between January 1, 2019, and June 2, 2019, Christopher Monson allegedly committed offenses that brought about charges which included: 3 counts of rape, 3 counts of incest, 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery, and one count of attempt to commit rape. These alleged incidents would have occurred when the victim was 16 to 17 years old.
From December 30, 2010, to April 3, 2015, there are 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 3 counts of rape of a child under 13 years old, 2 counts of incest, and one count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Given these dates, the victim would have been between the ages of 8 and 12 years old when these events allegedly transpired. The nature of the exploitation offense is said to have “unlawfully, intentionally or knowingly did use a minor to participate in the performance of, or in the production of, acts or material that includes the minor engaging in sexual activity or simulated sexual activity that is patently offensive in violation of TCA 39-17-1005”, as described in the indictment.
From April 4, 2009, to December 30, 2010, Christopher Monson is alleged to have taken actions that have led to the following charges: 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 4 counts of Incest, and 4 counts of rape of a child under the age of 13 years old. The victim of these acts would have been between the ages of 7 and 8 years old at the time.

Christopher Monson has received 2 charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child for dates ranging between April 4, 2009, to April 3, 2015, during the time the child would have been 7 to 12 years old. These charges stem from the culmination of all the charges of which the offenses occurred between the aforementioned dates.
There are also two additional aggravated sexual battery charges against Christopher that stem from or around the end of May of this year, against an individual known only as S.H.
Christy Monson has been charged with 2 counts of duty to report abuse/ neglect/ etc. the dates of both counts range from January 1, 2019, and June 2, 2019. These dates encompass Christopher’s 3 rape charges, 3 counts of incest, 2 aggravated sexual batteries, and one attempted rape. Christy was also charged with coercion of a witness and tampering with or fabricating evidence; offenses which occurred between June 2, 2019, to July 31, 2019.
Christoper Monson and Christy Monson, who were married in May of 2008, are both set to appear in court in January of next year for arraignment. Christopher Monson has posted a $100,000.00 bond and Christy Monson has posted a $20,000.00 bond as well via Edmondson Bonding for both parties.
