Fugitive and accomplice stopped by Walmart loss prevention on Fort Campbell Boulevard

28-year old Alexander Hart and 25-year-old Desiree Gwin were charged with theft of property after stealing $121.09 in merchandise from Wal-Mart.

On November 2nd, Clarksville Police Department Officer Alan Greenman arrived at Wal-Mart, located at 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard, in response to a shoplifting call. Greenman spoke with loss prevention who advised that they caught Alexander Hart and Desiree Gwin, who took $121.09 worth of merchandise and walked past the final point of sale. When speaking to Greenman, Desiree told him her name was Hannah Gwin and gave a different birthday.

Alexander Hart was arrested and charged with theft of property and violation of parole. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond.

Desiree Gwin was arrested and charged with theft of property and criminal impersonation. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,000 bond.
