27-year-old Amber Corbin was charged with driving under the influence, making a false report, and possession of marijuana after fleeing the scene of a crash then calling 911 to say someone hit her car and drove off, per report.

Shortly after Officer Canales responded to a hit and run call at the Mapco at 1775 Madison Street. Amber Corbin was driving a yellow Charger and stated that she was hit by a blue car on Fort Campbell Boulevard and immediately pulled over to the CDE building. She went on to say that she began to exchange information with the other driver before he got in his car and left, per the report.

Canales noted a strong odor of alcohol coming from Amber and that she was uneasy on her feet. Amber failed the field sobriety test and blew a .204 on the breath test. When she was taken into custody, officers found 1.69 grams of marijuana in her purse.
