Drunk charged after being reported for yelling at boyfriend on Minglewood Drive

48-year-old Tiffany Jackson was charged with domestic assault and public intoxication after a caller reported that she was knocking on a door and yelling very loudly, and she threatened to stab her boyfriend.

On November 22nd, Clarksville Police Officer Rosa Hyatt responded to a call saying someone was knocking on someone’s door while yelling at 1600 Minglewood Drive. When Officer Hyatt arrived, she saw Tiffany Jackson yelling very loud and would not quiet down to speak to the officer. Jackson reportedly smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on her feet. Tiffany Jackson walked over to where her boyfriend, Anh Brown, was 1602 Minglewood and started yelling and threatening to beat him up. Officer Hyatt detained Jackson because she was being very aggressive towards Brown. Tiffany Jackson told Officer Hyatt that Brown was “tossing her around” and said that he punched her in the face.

Officer Hyatt could not see any injuries on her face but did find a small cut on her hand and grass on her clothes. Officer Hyatt made contact with Brown who stated that Jackson was very aggressive and was arguing and yelling, so he asked her to leave. He also stated that Jackson told him that she was going to stab him, and then she “charged” at the door attempting to get inside. Brown pushed her away from the fear of what she was doing, and Jackson fell into the grass. Jackson continued to yell and threaten Brown while officers tried to speak with her. Jackson was taken into custody for public intoxication and domestic assault. Afterward, Jackson was found to have an active warrant for child abuse/neglect per report.

Tiffany Jackson was arrested and charged with domestic assault and public intoxication. She was later released on a $5,500 bond.
