According to the affidavit, Caudill ran an extension cord from his location to a neighboring home. The space reportedly has electrical and water capabilities, due to its abnormal size. Caudill was not given consent by the woman to be inside the crawlspace nor the home.

Richmond Caudill was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. His bond was set at $10,000.
